Social Media Micro Platform Invites Players To #stayhomemakemusic
A Copenhagen-based audio equipment design company recently introduced a new global music-sharing initiative — a sort of micro social media platform on which people can use tunes to promote a human connection during the COVID-19 quarantine.
The firm is the vowel happy AIAIAI, and its social media creation is #stayhomemakemusic. The website allows online users around the world to upload personal music creations or playlists and to encourage creative collaboration during the pandemic quarantine.
The “stay at home” effort features original artist-submitted music, DJ tips and periodic streaming content from the AIAIAI brand’s DJ and music artist collaborators. Everyday users and music enthusiasts also share content, including photos of their DJ or music listening setups at home.
Founded in 2010, AIAIAI is well known for its headphone designs and other developing audio products for both professional and everyday use. Its designers bring a Scandinavian flare to their products, creating a modular headphone system that allows listeners to customize their sound to their listening preferences.
AIAIAI Co-Founder Frederik Jørgensen says that the design firm
